Conventional slip master batches makes thin layer on the plastic film as it migrates and comes out on the surface .
Non-migratory slip master batch is used in plastics for stable, long-lasting slip performance, especially at high temperatures, and to prevent surface issues like powdering that occur with traditional migratory additives. These additives provide consistent friction reduction and prevent film sticking without requiring significant migration over time; making them ideal for high-speed processing, hot-filling applications, and situations where print or seal quality cannot be compromised.
Chain extenders, which are an important class of compounds, facilitate the elongation of polymer chains through reactive functional groups, thereby enhancing the performance of the materials.
The compatibility between the PLA and PBAT significantly improved results in an enhanced ductility of the blends, increase in the elongation at break.
